About The Artist
Anan Haque is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans fibers, fashion, ceramics, and art education. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Anan will graduate in the Spring of 2026 and will be going directly into grad school the following semester to earn a Master's degree in Art Education. Her work has been showcased across campus over the course of her time at MICA. As an individual born and raised in Maryland, she is inspired by the cultural diversity and resources available to craft and create with, especially within the greater artistic hub of Baltimore. At its core, the art she makes is for her younger self, as she has known that she has wanted to be an artist since kindergarten.
